WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES

It is with deep sorrow that Mrs Beh Cheng Chuah beloved wife of our immediate past President of 37 years and Chairman of SGI Board of Governors passed away on 6th August 2004, leaving behind a loving husband. Behind a great and benevolent man that Mr Beh is, there was a great woman. Married for 41 years, they have two wonderful sons. She was a silent pillar of strength for the men in the family, a somewhat 'wind beneath their wings'. Members of the Old Georgians' Association, Taiping extend their deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr Beh Cheng Chuah, their patron and immediate past President on her untimely demise.

OGA Taiping placed an obituary in the daily newspaper and presented a wreath at the funeral. OGA KL/Selangor also presented a wreath.

SGI was represented by the Principal Ms. Yoong Yook Yam and a smart battalion of scout bagpipe band and marching scouts and school prefects to bid farewell to a lady who was always beside our Chairman of SGI Board of Governors. Her presence will be missed at SGI school functions where her sweet presence with our Mr Beh Cheng Chuah always bring a light touch to school official functions.
