OLD GEORGIAN ASSOCIATION BUILDING (CLUB HOUSE)
After the end of World War
II, some time in 1946, the Old Georgian Association was formed and
the Association was officially registered on 13 Sept 1963 with Mr.
Chin Kit Fung, AMN as the first founder President. He was succeeded
by Dr. Ong Sim Keat (1963-1965) and Mr. Foo Fatt Yeow (1965-1967).
Mr. Beh Cheng Chuah (1967 – 2000) and now Mr Paul Loh Eng Wah (since
2007)
Under the able leadership
of the past and present Presidents, the Association has grown from
strength to strength in membership as well as in activities. The OGA
Taiping now has a membership of 297.
After 61 years of
formation, it is time that we had our own building. With this in
mind, President Paul Loh and Members of the OGA Committee appeal
to all SONS OF SGI to use every possible avenue to raise
funds so that we can realize our very own building.

If former Georgians and
Friends of SGI can pool our resources and make the OGA building a
reality, the building would be powerful testimony of the dedication
of the old and faithful boys of SGI of their endeavor of forging
close links with the alma mater. It will be gesture that the younger
generation (the present students) will definitely emulate.
To date, we have raised RM
41,700 and our target is RM 500,000.
